Benefits for All

When We Promote Western Montana Together, Everybody Wins

Western Montana's Glacier Country promotes Western Montana, and all of our communities, as a tourism destination. Businesses and organizations benefit from these efforts regardless of partnership status. Here are just a few examples:

GlacierMT.com

Our website, glaciermt.com, has more than 1.8 million unique visitors each year, a number that has doubled in the last five years. Visitors to our site spend an average of five minutes per visit, using the site as a pertinent resource for accurate and up-to-date information on Western Montana. Our primary site is also completely responsive, meaning it will adjust accordingly depending on the mobile device being used to view it, such as an iPad, iPhone or other tablet/smartphone. While partner listings are featured prominently on our site, all communities are represented, and all state business listings feed into our site. Our microsites for group and international tour operators along with meeting and convention planners are also a great way to showcase your businesses to these market segments.

Event Calendar

You can, and should, share any and all events in and around Glacier Country to our glaciermt.com Events page. Add your upcoming events, and please include as much information as possible.

This service is FREE to ALL, so spread the word.

Glacier Country reserves the right to monitor and edit all calendar information for appropriate content and relevance.

Glacier Country Travel Guide

Each year we produce a glossy, full-color travel guide with a print distribution of 150,000 and an estimated readership of 500,000. Plus, the online version of the guide has more than 80,000 unique views annually. The Glacier Country Travel Guide is the premier source of information on attractions, culture, lodging, dining, entertainment, transportation, shopping and visitor services throughout Western Montana. The guide is distributed at more than 700 Certified Folder displays throughout Montana and Alberta, lodging facilities, visitor information centers, welcome centers, Montana Department of Transportation rest areas and more.

Social Media and Blogs

Glacier Country's jaw-dropping scenery makes it a social media superstar. We have a combined social media audience of more than 400,000. Our weekly blog posts on glaciermt.com showcase charming towns, thrilling adventures, dining delights, unique lodging, cultural hot spots and our partners, of course. Our B2B blog designed for meeting planners and tour operators has doubled its viewership over the last year and continues to focus on the benefits of Glacier Country to these travel markets. Combined, our two blogs have over 455,000 views a year.

Call Center

Our call center receives more than 210,000 phone, mail and internet inquiries each year. Our travel consultants will promote our communities and businesses during these inquiries. You can also present your business or community highlights to call center counselors at no cost or host counselors in your community for a FAM (familiarization) trip, showcasing all you have to offer.

Email Marketing

Western Montana's Glacier Country distributes a minimum of four consumer newsletters, two meeting planner newsletters and two tour operator newsletters each year, with a total distribution of nearly one million. We have a total consumer database of more than 1,200,000.
