Glacier Country Tourism has been active in marketing to group tour operators, international free independent travelers (FIT) and the meeting planner markets for many years. We have a Tourism Sales Manager who specializes in these B2B markets and give referral advice for groups that are planning destination weddings and family reunions. For tourism related businesses who commit to working with these markets they can be a great way to diversify your customer base especially in times of economic challenge or when trying to increase shoulder season business.
Due to privacy laws, specifically the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) in EU countries, we are not allowed to share contact information from the leads generated at the international trade shows we attend (Go West Summit, International Roundup, IPW). After reading through the notes from international shows that are provided, if there are certain companies you would like to follow up with, please contact our Tourism Sales Manager.
For the domestic group tour and meetings leads, please make every effort to follow up on these. It is direct contact from businesses like you that will persuade them to hold meetings or create tours to Western Montana.
Please feel free to contact the office with any questions.
