Each year, we develop a strategic operations plan that translates our Destination Stewardship Plan into action—outlining marketing initiatives, community engagement priorities and measurable goals for the fiscal year. This plan, along with our budget, is approved by the Tourism Advisory Council and represents our commitment to strategic, accountable use of lodging tax funds.
Our approved plan and budget are available on the Montana Department of Commerce website. Statewide lodging tax collection reports are available here.
Note: Lodging tax figures represent total collections of the 4% Lodging Facility Use Tax before statutory distribution to all funding recipients, including Western Montana's Glacier Country.
*Glacier Country Regional Tourism Commission is commonly referred to as a destination organization (DO). Organizations are commonly referred to as DOs even though they may serve as destination market, management, leadership or stewardship organizations. For more details, please read our DO plan.
