Montana Aware Safety Campaign Community Assistance Program

Monday, February 1, 2021: This program is closed to new partners. Existing partners can order safety materials until the inventory is depleted.

Western Montana's Glacier Country is working with the Montana Department of Commerce to implement Montana Aware, a campaign to promote travel safety awareness. We are assisting with the coordination of distributing safety messaging in our communities. The safety messaging includes a number of things including a toolkit of physical materials, news releases, social media posts, webpage copy, radio PSA templates and an image gallery for businesses and organizations to use and/or make available to your community.

We created a program where we produce and ship all physical materials from the toolkit to organizations within our communities who will then distribute the materials to local businesses. Distribution program is limited to applicants within the Western Montana's Glacier Country Region geographic boundaries: Flathead, Glacier, Lake, Lincoln, Mineral, Missoula, Ravalli and Sanders counties. Western Montana's Glacier Country covers all of the associated costs for distribution partners who signed up in the fall of 2020.

In addition to the toolkit items (posters and flyers), we have window clings, coasters, table tents, masks, buffs, sanitizer and totes. These items are available until inventory has been depleted.

Montana Aware Campaign Materials Available to Order

We have posters, flyers and window clings in our remaining inventory. You can place orders anytime for these remaining items using our online order form, or you can print the order form located below and mail, fax or email it to our office.

Western Montana's Glacier Country Safety Campaign

To complement the Montana Aware campaign, we are producing billboards, fuel station videos and social media videos with similar safety messaging all across the eight counties of Glacier Country.

The funding for this program is from the federal Montana CARES Act. It is not associated with lodging facility use tax in any way.
